Dennis Durrell


 

        Dennis Durrell is an artist and illustrator, who has worked in the animation industry for more than thirty years. He began his career at age nineteen, working as a television background painter for Hanna-Barbera Productions. Since then, he has been a background painter and supervisor, production designer and an art director. He has worked primarily for Hanna-Barbera, Disney and Warner Brothers Studios. Dennis has also illustrated children's books for Disney and created the color illustrations for Harry Potter merchandising. His character paintings have appeared on the cover of Newsweek, Vanity Fair and many Disney periodicals. Museum exhibitions include the Coos Art Museum in Oregon and the Maritime Museum of San Diego, California.
